Cyndi Daily- Gross, Certified Perinatal Support Specialist (CPSS) and Certified Doula.  Cyndi started her career as  a Labor Support person in 1992, following an  unnecessary Cesarean in 1988. After achieving  a VBAC in 1993, Cyndi began working with a Granny Midwife in San Diego as a midwives apprentice.  She  attended births on a volunteer basis for four years. In 1995, Cyndi became a single mother and began charging for her services. She took both ALACE and DONA certification programs and became partners with Wendy Spry. Labor of  Love Certified Childbirth Assistants became a very well known Labor Support service because of its balanced and educational  support. The service has been accepted and recommended by Doctors, Nurses and Hospitals. The goal was to help women achieve the birth experience they desired while educating them on options if medical intervention became necessary. This service allowed everyone to do their jobs and still have a safe outcome. To date Cyndi has embarked on a new career in teaching other Labor Support/ Doulas and Nurses how to offer the best care for expectant parents. Cyndi is also working collaboratively with Beach Cities Midwifery and Women's Healthcare. www.beachcitiesmidwifery.com.
